Role Overview

We are seeking a Pre-Sales / Technical Proposal Writer with 3+ years of experience to support our business development team in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and client inquiries. This role is critical in crafting compelling proposals, technical documentation, and solution overviews that showcase our expertise and value proposition to prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities

Proposal Writing & Documentation:

Develop well-structured and persuasive responses for RFPs, RFIs, and client proposals.
Collaborate with technical teams to translate complex solutions into clear and engaging content.
Maintain and update a proposal content library for reusable responses.

Pre-Sales Support:

Work with the sales and technical teams to understand client requirements and tailor responses accordingly.
Assist in creating pitch decks, case studies, whitepapers, and technical presentations.
Support the team in developing pricing models and solution overviews.

Content & Process Management:

Ensure proposals align with OptiSol’s service offerings, key differentiators, and industry best practices.
Conduct research on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry benchmarks to strengthen proposals.
Continuously refine proposal templates and documentation processes for efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

3 to 6 years of experience in technical writing, pre-sales, or proposal management in the IT services or technology sector.
Strong writing, editing, and documentation skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
Hands-on experience in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders with a structured approach.
Understanding of IT services, digital transformation, cloud solutions, GenAI is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively with technical architects, sales teams, and leadership to craft winning proposals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and proposal management tools.
Experience with generative AI tools for content structuring is a plus.
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
