Vue is a progressive framework for building user interfaces. Unlike other monolithic frameworks, Vue is designed from the ground up to be incrementally adoptable. The core library is focused on the view layer only and is easy to pick up and integrate with other libraries or existing projects.

Vue picked some of the Angular templating syntaxes, but removed the opinionated, complex stack that Angular required, and made it very performant. Vue took many good ideas from React, most importantly the Virtual DOM. But Vue implements it with some sort of automatic dependency management. This tracks which components are affected by a change of the state so that only those components are re-rendered when that state property changes.
